How to Use

• Break up fully colonized grain spawn in its bag.
• Open the CVG substrate bag and pour spawn in at your preferred ratio (1:2 to 1:4 spawn-to-substrate).
• Mix thoroughly and level in a monotub.
• Allow to colonize (7-14 days), then introduce fruiting conditions.

Storage

Store at room temperature, use within 30 days. Do not refrigerate. Keep sealed until ready to use to maintain hydration and cleanliness.

Each batch is pasteurized and sealed under clean conditions. Representative samples are inspected before release to ensure proper moisture content and cleanliness.

How to Use This Substrate

1. Break up your colonized grain spawn into individual grains by massaging the spawn bag.
2. Mix spawn with substrate at a 1:3 ratio (one part spawn to three parts substrate) in a clean environment.
3. Pack into a monotub or grow bag and level the surface.
4. Incubate at 70-75°F until the substrate is fully colonized (white mycelium throughout).
5. Introduce fruiting conditions — increase fresh air exchange and maintain 80-90% humidity.

Tip: Pre-pasteurized substrate is ready to use — no additional sterilization needed. Open the bag in a clean area and work quickly to minimize contamination risk.
